No. Clients get a private link — no login, no app to download. They open it and see the current status, timeline, and delivery date.
Is this a full project management or CRM tool?
No, on purpose. Pending Magic is intentionally simple: one status per project, a shareable link, and automatic updates. If you need a full CRM or team workflow builder, this isn't it.
Can I customize the stages?
Not in this version. Every project moves through the same six stages — Intake, Design, Materials, Production, Finishing, Complete. Keeping it fixed is what makes updates fast and keeps client expectations consistent.
Does Pending Magic process payments?
Not yet. You can track an invoice total and mark deposits or payments as received, but no money moves through Pending Magic. It's a status tracker with lightweight invoice notes, not a payment processor.
